The encroachment of death onto our lives is inevitable. The only constant in a world without the philosopher’s stone is the grim reality that one day we will pass away. There may be an interesting change in the approach to death, whereas now there is a focus on prolonging life as long as possible soon there will be a service for those looking to make peace with themselves before the end. Older people are a demographic who do not seek therapy as much as their children but when those raised when therapy became commonplace mature, so will the subject of their therapy sessions.
